Content audits and content modelling
Content audits
Large-scale legacy sites can end up with thousands of live pages. Some of these may be orphaned, or otherwise inaccessible, but those that are live can present a risk. Brand, legal, and factual inaccuracies can damage your business reputation, or even leave you liable to damages.
But regardless of the number of pages, content audits can inform information architecture, support robust governance models, and support SEO and GEO activity. I've used audits of sites large and small to drive targeted and measurable improvements.

Content modelling
Once you understand where your content is through a content audit, you can begin to define what it is through a content model.
In today's world of multiplatform sites, headless CMS, and AI agents, structured content is more important than ever. Content models support efficiency and consistency by allowing content fragments to be easily catalogued and reused. Content modelling has been a significant aspect of several of the digital transformations I have worked on.
I've also used content models to prepare customer support content for migration to a new knowledgebase and ingestion into an AI chatbot.
